Do you have something to say, but you don’t know where to say it? Do you have an opinion of what is happening in your world, something you don’t like and want to see changed?
Rather than gather in the streets and throw bottle rockets into the law enforcement center, or burn businesses because we are mad at the law, let us try a different approach.
We don’t have to resort to violence for change, we have our voices and the written word.
Civil disobedience means speaking your mind through the proper channels.
There are different ways to do this, you can petition your Congressman, write a letter to the local paper that may or may not get printed, you can call the Governor’s office. We all know those tactics do little for change, and it takes forever to work through the system.
So we can either hit the streets and riot, or we can air our concerns here at the T-Ragg.
We have rights, called the First Amendment Rights. Rights like Freedom of Speech and Freedom of the Press Here is where we take those rights for a walk and let the world know our concerns.
One person is seldom heard, but many people with raised voices are heard. Calmly and peacefully we can make changes in our community. We are helpless on a national level, but here, at home, we can indeed make a difference.
This is our way to begin positive change in our corner of the world. Change begins with a single candle, and through this forum, we light that candle.
Chaos creates discord among the people. Our community is in chaos, the discord created by systems that fail us.

With this in mind, the mission of the Thermopolis Ragg is to provide a safe space for you to express your voice and be heard.
The T-Ragg serves as an alternate means to writing a letter to the editor about things that are concerning to you and others in our small town of Thermopolis, the County of Hot Springs, and any noteworthy happenings around Wyoming. The reporting here is different than what you read in the newspapers.
We are here to tell it like it is, to speak our mind, without the frills and whistles, and shading of truth.

The Thermopolis Ragg is an open forum. You may submit your letters or guest blogs to the editors via email at TeamAwesome@ThermopolisRagg.com. When you do so, you agree all material posted here will first be approved by our editors. Please do not be intimidated or offended by this. All great writers have editors. Editors are necessary for authors to save face and to prevent us from making public fools of ourselves.
If you have something to say, but are not comfortable with your writing skills, the staff at T-Ragg is happy to assist you. Submit your newsworthy idea with a note saying you want your story written by our staff, and we will be happy to do so. As with any other letter, before publishing, you have the opportunity to read your article and make any changes to it.
How do you know your submissions will be read by the public? We have the highest quality SEO and keyword searches working behind the scenes to ensure high ranks on Google. By the nature of the beast, though, in order to rank on Google, the website needs interaction from its readers. That is you. The more often you share the posts, the more comments and submissions we get, the faster the ranking, the better read the site becomes.
Information and education are our business. We are not out to get your money. We depend on a few affiliate links to support the expenses of this website, but that is all. There are no other ads on this site. The staff is purely volunteer and dedicate their precious time to this cause because they wholeheartedly believe change will only come if were stand UNITED.
We look forward to an open and friendly relationship with our readers. Feel free to contact us at any time. We are but an email away.
